The new series from SMA has an integrated emergency power supply that can be manually started in case of power failure. An optional mains switching device can even supply all three phases fully automatically with a phase coupling in case of power failure.
The SMA SUNNY BOY STORAGE needs the information from the network tie point for regulation. At least the SMA ENERGY METER must be used in the process. Ideally, an SMA SUNNY HOME MANAGER 2.0 is installed.
