The high-voltage storage system has been a big trend since 2016. LG presents its first high-voltage battery and hits the spot. A newly developed battery cell allows a particularly high energy density and compact dimensions of the new LG high-voltage series. Due to the parallel connection, the power increases and this results in 14 kW power and 32.0 kWh capacity for 2 x 16H. Especially for single-family homes, this capacity is adequate to keep self-consumption at a high level. Efficiency is over 90 %. The Prime storage units support RS485 and CAN.
