The press connections of the connectors in the solar sector have to withstand up to 30 A DC safely and permanently. In case of bad pressing (in the worst case scenario), arcs with up to 5000 ° C are possible. This is an acute fire hazard. This can be prevented quickly and effectively by using the right tool. Similarly, the double insulation of the solar cables requires a special wire stripper with particularly sharp blades.
