SMA ENERGY METER-20 Power Meter

This intelligent power meter for PV systems and storage systems determines phase-precise and balances the electrical energy flow at the grid connection point or before the PV inverter. The measured data is transmitted via the SMA SPEEDWIRE interface through the local network to the SMA devices.

SMA inverters ranging in type from SB 1.5-40 to SB 5.0-40 can directly receive the data from the SMA ENERGY METER and thus a dynamic control of, for example, 70% can take place. Likewise, the SMA SB Storage and the new SMA SUNNY ISLAND - 12 can receive the data from the SMA ENERGY METER. This does not necessarily require a SMA HOME MANAGER 2.0.
