You will then be given access to the Tesla Partners Portal where you can take an online training course to learn everything you need to know about the Powerwall 2. You can take the training at any time. At the end of each session, you will be asked to answer a series of questions.

After Tesla has verified your information and your company, you will be notified if you will receive a certificate. Tesla will send you a contract to sign and return to Tesla. We will then activate you for the Tesla Powerwall 2 in our online store.

Why do I have to get a certification first?
Tesla places the highest priority on the quality and professional installation of the Powerwall, which is why only certified installers are allowed to sell and install the Tesla Powerwall. This not only protects the end customer, but also ensures the highest quality in the market, and distinguishes your business.
Which requirements do I have to fulfil to obtain the certification?
Your company must be a registered PV, electrical or installation company. Furthermore, we expect an attractive website and a professional sales department. A master electrician is not mandatory, but of course a plus.
Which obligations do I have as a Tesla Powerwall certified installer?
There are no minimum order quantities or basic obligations. However, Tesla reserves the right to suspend Tesla Powerwall certified installers if there are problems with the installation to the end customer or the service was inadequate. It is also important that you comply with Tesla's marketing guidelines.

The number of certified installers is not currently limited. However, due to the expected high demand, there may be waiting times. This is why it's worth being quick!
