The Kostal Plenticore BI 5.5 G2 is a compact storage inverter for high-voltage batteries. The system is compatible with BYD's high-voltage storage systems. The storage size can be freely selected from 5.1 to 66 kWh, making it ideal for use in single-family homes. If there is no photovoltaic system, the battery inverter can be used with other AC energy sources. The only condition is the use of the Kostal Energy Meter. An activation code for enabling the battery input is not required – install, commission and store energy. Commissioning is easy using a commissioning wizard.

With the KEM – P it is not possible to connect a Kostal Enector Wallbox and other inverters to the main inverter. For this purpose, the Kostal Smart Energy Meter G2 is required.
