The comprehensive package with Kostal and BYD has everything a modern home needs. The Kostal Plenticore plus 5.5 G2 inverter including Kostal Smart Energy Meter G2 and the Kostal Enector 11kW wallbox combined with the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 7.7 high-voltage battery. 

This package guarantees ideal compatibility of its components. As the inverter, smart meter and wallbox are all from Kostal, their ability to communicate with each other is perfectly coordinated. As an open and flexible battery system, BYD is the best conceivable addition to the Kostal systems.

In addition to an attractive new design, the Kostal Plenticore plus G2 inverter also has a separate connection compartment for all the necessary interfaces. Continuous self-consumption measurement, dynamic power control, intelligent shade management and the proven free Kostal Portal are on board. Local use is also possible thanks to the integrated web server. 

Thanks to the further development of the BYD HVS battery cell technology, the overall system weight has been reduced by almost 30%. The installation depth is also 8 cm less. Thanks to the IP55 protection class certification, the battery can be installed outdoors without any problems. BYD remains true to itself in terms of charging and discharging performance. Each battery can also deliver the nominal capacity as power – i.e. 1C. This makes the new series ideally suited for on-grid, on-grid plus backup and off-grid systems.
