Tech tip

The key factor determining structural stability is the ground: the pile depth ranges from 1,600 to 1,750 mm, but the ground investigation report is the decisive factor. The soil survey and the final structural analysis must be provided by the client – without a soil survey, you cannot determine the post length. Check at an early stage whether the site is located in a region with higher snow loads: the reinforced ALPIN version of the kit is available for this purpose; changing to it later is expensive. Tighten the module clamps to 15 Nm (M8 Allen key). And bear in mind when selecting modules: the system is designed for modules ranging from 1,722 to 1,762 mm in length, 1,134 mm in width and with a frame height of 30 to 42 mm.

Alumero easyMONO Kit 2x8, driven into the ground

The easyMONO-Kit 2x8 is a single-post ground-mounted system from Alumero for open-space installations – according to the manufacturer, it is particularly suitable for installations under 2 MW. The designation 2x8 describes the array layout: two layers of modules stacked vertically on top of one another, with 8 module columns in the row direction, making 16 modules per array. In this configuration, the steel posts are driven directly into the ground – without concrete and without sealing the ground.
