BYD Battery-Box Premium BCU 2.0 HVS/HVM
The BYD BCU 2.0 is the new central control and communication module for BYD's Battery Box Premium HVS/HVM battery storage systems. It has been specifically developed to make installation, servicing, and system integration even more convenient. With the BYD BCU 2.0, all connections – including data, communication, and DC connections – are accessible from the outside without tools and with particular ease. There is no need to open the housing cover.
When combining BCU 1.0 and BCU 2.0, complications may arise during parallel connection under certain circumstances.
Hydraulic crimping tool with press head recommended for installation.
For proper commissioning, the terminating resistor included in the scope of delivery must be installed (in COM-IN for individual operation). Without this, the BCU will not recognize the modules and will report communication errors.
