Description
Enwitec transfer switch for 1 x SMA Sunny Island Pmax 20kW
In the event of a power cut, a backup power system safely disconnects the connected PV system and the consumer distribution network from the public grid whilst simultaneously providing the customer with a backup power supply.
The standard version, with a maximum continuous thermal power of 20 kW, allows power to be fed from an SMA ‘Sunny Island’ battery inverter, with grid disconnection always being 3-phase and all-pole. In addition, Enwitec develops and manufactures customised versions with higher power ratings and a wide range of other specifications.

- Inverter connection for battery: 1 x SMA Sunny Island
- PV Inverter connection: indirect; PV inverters are connected to the domestic distribution board
- Prepared for PV generation meter: no (for systems larger than 10 kWp)
- Prepared for SMA Energy Meter or Home Manager 2.0
- Phase coupling in emergency power mode for all 3 phases
- All-pole grid disconnection
- Max. upstream fuse: 63 A
