Pre-assemble the MK2 and façade module support onto the MultiRail whilst the rail is still on the ground – the M8x20 screw is much harder to access once the façade rail has been fully installed, and when installing on the façade you’ll be working overhead or from scaffolding anyway. Don’t confuse the two: the same system also includes the Rail AntiSlip Clip, which serves a different purpose and does not replace the module support. Both parts are listed side by side in the components overview in the K2 installation instructions “WallPV MultiRail / FacadeClamp”.

K2 Façade Module Support

The façade module support is a component of the K2 façade solution featuring MultiRail and FacadeClamp. It is secured to the MultiRail using the MK2 connector (item 1001643) and an M8x20 cylinder head screw, and remains permanently attached to the façade system. It is required for mounting modules onto the façade. The material is aluminium EN AW-6063 T66.
