With the HEMS licence, the blue’Log XC data controller becomes the central control and management platform for hybrid energy systems comprising a Photovoltaic system and a Battery storage system. The system automatically optimises Self-consumption, controls the charging and discharging of the storage unit, and meets grid requirements such as zero feed-in or peak shaving. In doing so, PV generation and storage operation are intelligently coordinated to maximise yields, reduce grid loads and comply with regulatory requirements.

If purchasing a licence at a later date, the serial number of the existing meteocontrol blueLog XC must be provided. 

Product features:

• Optimisation of self-consumption through dynamic charging and discharging strategies
• Implementation of grid requirements such as zero feed-in, peak shaving or power limitation
• Separate configuration of PV and storage parameters (e.g. PI controllers, dead zones, setpoint limits)
• Visualisation and long-term archiving of control measures in the logbook
• Integrated safety and fallback mechanisms in the event of component or grid faults

The meteocontrol OpenVPN licence is also required for certain remote access and communication functions.
