Für eine optimale Temperaturregelung empfiehlt es sich, den Temperatursensor des AC•THOR im oberen Drittel des Speichers zu positionieren. Stelle die Abschalttemperatur des Sensors höher ein als die des Bimetall-Thermostats am Heizstab. So wird bei PV-Überschuss der gesamte Speicherinhalt genutzt, während bei Netzbezug nur der obere Bereich erwärmt wird. Dies maximiert die Nutzung von Solarstrom und minimiert den Netzstrombezug.

The regulation of unused, surplus energy in photovoltaic systems is the important task of the Power Manager AC-THOR from the Austrian manufacturer MyPV. This 1-phase heating rod with 3 kW output is the perfect complement to the Energy Manager and it can also be directly connected there using the Schuko plug. Due to the infinitely variable control, a high proportion of own consumption is also possible in larger systems.
