Metal fire protection duct with intumescent fire protection fabric for the fire-safe routing of cables. Classified as an EI30, EI60 and EI90 installation duct in accordance with EN 13501-2, tested to EN 1366-5. The duct prevents the spread of fire for the classified duration and protects against the effects of a cable fire.
Suitable for direct wall and ceiling mounting, installation beneath raised access floors and on support systems. Tool-free joint assembly using the PLM SI joint connector. Only approved, pre-assembled fittings may be used. The cover snaps into place without tools, enabling quick inspection and retrofitting. Offset cover installation is possible to ensure continuous equipotential bonding along the entire duct run.
No electrical functional integrity in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12!
