The OBO PYROWRAP® FSB-WB fire protection wrap is a weather-resistant fire protection covering made from flexible fabric with a fire-retardant coating. It prevents the spread of fire via cables, cable support systems and bundles of electrical installation conduits, and is particularly suitable for outdoor and industrial areas. The material, which foams in the event of a fire, is used to reduce the fire load of cable installations. One roll contains 22 m²
Use on photovoltaic cables passing through fire walls may require approval from the relevant local building authority.
A favourable special assessment has been issued.
