Reev Living Sign – A complete solution for charging infrastructure in multi-occupancy buildings
Please note: Only Reev-ready hardware is required – factory-preconfigured charging stations that do not require on-site software setup.
Reev Living is the all-in-one solution for charging infrastructure in multi-occupancy buildings. Owners’ associations, property management companies and housing associations enable their tenants and parking space owners to make a simple transition to electric mobility – without having to bear any administrative burden themselves. Behind the scenes, Reev handles the supply of 100% certified Green electricity at attractive prices, automated direct billing with drivers, energy management with support under Section 14a of the German Energy Act, and comprehensive driver support. This does not affect
housing companies’ trade tax privileges. In conjunction with Reev ready, Reev Living meets all the requirements for the BMV ‘Charging in Multi-Occupancy Buildings’ Funding scheme.
The Reev sign is the mandatory on-site component: using its unique 6-digit ID, you link the building to the Reev platform; tenants register themselves via the QR code – charging and payment are handled entirely via the Reev app. The Reev Living software is included (cloud platform with EMS, billing, driver app and Reev Companion) – no additional licence purchase is required.
Here’s how the installation works – guided step by step via the Reev Companion web portal:
- Install and wire up Reev-ready charging stations
- Scan the QR code on the Wallbox and log in to Reev Companion
- Enter location details and meter information
- Enter the sign ID (6 digits) – this links the building to the platform
- Scan the charging stations using the QR code – they’ll be automatically recognised and added
- Confirm the installation – Reev handles platform setup, driver communication and power supply; you retain remote access
Reev takes care of this – with no effort required from the owners’ association or property management:
- Electricity supply with 100% certified Green electricity at attractive kWh rates for drivers
- Automated billing directly with drivers: monthly basic fee + kWh consumption, automatically debited
- Full driver support from Reev – no need to call the property management company or an electrician
- Driver self-service: registration via QR code on the Reev sign, charging and payment management via the Reev app
- Integrated energy management: static or dynamic load management and controllability in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Act
- Reev is the drivers’ contractual partner – the owners’ association and property management are not involved; drivers can cancel their contract on a monthly basis
- Housing companies’ trade tax exemption remains unaffected
- Eligible for BMV funding: meets all requirements for the ‘Charging in Multi-Occupancy Buildings’ scheme (up to €2,000 per parking space, Funding available for 6 or more parking spaces)

Requirements:
- Suitable for multi-occupancy buildings only (not for detached houses or public locations)
- ‘Reev ready’ charging stations required – at least 2 charging points per location
- A dedicated electricity meter exclusively for the charging infrastructure (RLM meters not permitted)
- At least 1 Reev sign per building, with additional signs as required
