SMA Storage XL Additional Battery 89 kWh Indoor

The SMA Storage XL CS-89-IN-30 battery is a high-voltage battery designed to expand existing SMA Storage XL systems in indoor environments. It is suitable for projects requiring additional storage capacity without altering the inverter output.

The battery is based on durable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell technology and is designed for continuous commercial use.

An energy meter is required for operation and is not included in the scope of delivery.

Commissioning may only be carried out by certified installers. You can find the link to register here.
Alternatively, it is possible to have SMA carry out the commissioning (item no. 11048)

Commissioning of the SMA Commercial Storage Solution must take place no later than 2 months after delivery (ex-works SMA). If the latest possible commissioning date is foreseeable to be unfeasible, please contact us or SMA to reschedule the delivery accordingly.

System compatibility

• The battery is compatible with the Sunny Tripower Storage X and is supplied with an integrated battery management system. It is intended exclusively as an expansion module for existing Storage XL installations.
