Tech tip

For systems >30 kVA, external neutral protection is required in accordance with VDE AR-N 4105.

With SolarEdge, the integrated grid relays in the inverter can be used for this purpose. Centralised power contactors are no longer required. The inverter requires firmware version 3.18xx for this. The only hardware required is the external grid monitor.
