The Powerwall 3, Tesla’s new all-in-one system, features a sleek design and high energy density. With its integrated hybrid Inverter, the energy storage system is ideal for new installations, but also for retrofitting existing PV systems. You can install it easily via plug-and-play, meaning you can have the energy storage system up and running in just a few hours. You can also connect up to 4 Powerwalls together in total.
Furthermore, the Backup Gateway 2 enables every Tesla Powerwall to provide emergency power and automatically switches to backup mode in the event of a power cut. Thanks to the new hybrid Inverter, appliances can continue to be supplied with Solar power and the energy storage system can be charged even if the mains grid fails.
You can easily monitor the power generation of the photovoltaic system and the home’s current consumption in real time using the Tesla Mobile App.
