Ziehl Pav, EFR4002IPR electronic monitoring system
- Measurement input: 333 mV for Rogowski coils
- Zero-feed-in will soon also be possible under VDE 4105:2026-03
- For the requirements of the Electrical Properties Verification Ordinance (NELEV) and the Energy Installations Requirements Ordinance (EAAV)
PLEASE NOTE: Even if no power is to be fed into the grid (zero feed-in), Pav,e monitoring must currently be implemented when connecting in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4105. This allows up to 66% more generation systems, including storage, to be installed.
EnFluRi sensor and certified Pav,e monitoring, response time <200 ms, VDE 4105:2018-11 NELEV/EAAV. Medium-voltage measurement via Rogowski coil 333 mV
The EFR4002IPR energy flow relay monitors the current flow between the consumer and the public electricity grid (at the grid connection point). It is conveniently operated via the built-in web server using the IP interface or via the LCD plain-text display directly on the device. Measurement values are clearly shown on the display or on the screen.
Many areas suitable for photovoltaics could not previously be utilised, as only a limited amount of power may be fed into the grid at the grid connection point. Following commissioning in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11, it is now permitted to install two-thirds more generation capacity than the grid connection allows.
The prerequisite for this is that the excess power is consumed on-site and not fed into the grid. To ensure the stability of the system nonetheless, this must be monitored. A similar principle applies in the case of zero feed-in, where no energy at all is permitted to be fed into the grid.
Data exchange with EZA controller is possible.
Functions: Pav, e-monitoring and energy flow direction sensor:
- Shutdown of the self-generation system or parts thereof if the permissible feed-in power is exceeded, via relay K3
- Activation of loads or throttling of generators before this occurs, via the analogue output and relays K1 and K2
- Energy flow direction sensor (EnFluRi sensor) and feed-in limitation (Pav,e) < 0.1 s, Pave / P ave / P av,e
