Kostal & Dyness Retrofit L – Battery retrofit for existing PV systems
With the Kostal & Dyness Retrofit L, an existing Photovoltaic system can be easily expanded to include a high-performance Battery storage system – without any need to modify the existing PV Inverter. The package combines the Kostal PLENTICORE BI 25 G3, an AC-coupled battery Inverter with a power rating of 25 kW, with 13 Dyness Stack100 battery modules, each with a capacity of 5.12 kWh. This results in an usable storage capacity of around 63.2 kWh – the largest retrofit option for commercial premises with high energy requirements that wish to maximise their Self-consumption and reliably manage Peak loads.
The PLENTICORE BI 25 G3 comes as standard with full backup capability, ensuring a reliable emergency power supply in the event of a fault. Thanks to modern communication interfaces (LAN, Wi-Fi, Modbus RTU), the system can be conveniently monitored and integrated into existing energy management systems. The Dyness Stack100 battery modules are based on safe LiFePO4 cell technology, are stackable in a compact tower design and offer a long service life with over 6,000 full cycles or unlimited cycles within the warranty period.
