Kostal & Dyness Retrofit M – Battery retrofit for existing PV systems
With the Kostal & Dyness Retrofit M, an existing Photovoltaic system can be easily expanded to include a Battery storage system – without any modification to the existing PV Inverter. The package combines the KOSTAL PLENTICORE BI 25 G3, an AC-coupled battery Inverter, with 10 Dyness Stack100 battery modules, each with a capacity of 5.12 kWh. This results in an usable storage capacity of around 48.6 kWh. With 10 modules (approx. 512 V stack voltage), the battery-side AC power output is around 20.5 kW (instead of the full base power of 25 kW) – ideal for medium-sized commercial premises.
