Officially, the common practice of bending and tapping the roof tiles is even expressly prohibited. By replacing the lower tile before securing the roof hook, all overload problems in snowy regions are also resolved in advance. There is no longer any risk of consequential damage from broken tiles or water ingress. The foam wedge included in the scope of delivery prevents rain and snow from entering through gaps in the shape of the overlying tile.
