Adjusting the roof tiles during hook-mounted installation is one of the most labour-intensive and time-consuming steps for the PV installer. Officially, the common practice of bending and tapping the roof tiles is even expressly prohibited. This is a tricky situation for the tradesperson, who, as the final specialist on the project, bears the responsibility. Yet the solution is remarkably simple. Marzari metal roof panels are available in a perfect fit and matching colours for many types of tiles. Installation is comparatively simpler, cleaner and faster. By replacing the lower tile before securing the roof hook, all overload problems in snowy regions are also resolved in advance. There is no longer any risk of consequential damage from broken tiles or water ingress. The foam wedge included in the scope of delivery prevents rain and snow from entering through gaps in the shape of the tile lying on top.
