When commissioning the SMA Home Storage in conjunction with the Sunny Tripower Smart Energy, please note that the Inverter firmware must be updated to version 3.04.16.R to ensure the storage solution is commissioned successfully.

SMA Storage M

The SMA Storage M is a modular high-voltage storage system for domestic users and small businesses, and forms the heart of the SMA energy system. Based on long-life LFP technology, it is available in ten capacity levels ranging from 12.3 kWh to 49.1 kWh – comprising a basic kit with a BMS unit and three battery modules, which can be flexibly expanded with additional individual modules. The stackable 36-kg modules are simply stacked on top of one another without any internal cabling and can be commissioned via plug-and-play. Thanks to IP66 protection and an operating temperature range of −20 °C to +50 °C, the Storage M is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
