Sungrow PowerKeeper Battery Junction Box SJC160-02
The Sungrow PowerKeeper Battery Junction Box SJC160-02 serves as the central DC distribution and protection component for the modular PowerKeeper C&I battery storage solution. It enables several battery strings to be connected in parallel and linked to a hybrid inverter. The batteries are connected via DC1+/DC1− and DC2+/DC2−, whilst the Inverter is connected via DC+/DC−.
Thanks to the integrated fuse and the DC load break switch, the junction box also performs important protection and isolation functions. Sungrow has designed the SJC160-02 for flexible system configurations with multiple battery strings. A single junction box supports up to two strings connected in parallel, each with a capacity of up to 250 kWh; with two or three junction boxes, up to three or four strings are possible.
The junction box is optional and is required if more than 250 kWh of storage capacity per Inverter is to be connected. Maximum storage capacity: up to 1 MWh per Inverter.
Up to 3 junction boxes can be connected to an SH50CX, SH80CX or SH125CX.
