Tech tip

The panel is segmented and can be snapped off – you adjust it to fit the hook rather than cutting it to size. The real benefit lies in the order of operation: First, use the height adjustment on the hook itself (45–55 mm in the roof batten area for the EF35, 39–51 mm for the RSA), and only use the panel to shim the remaining gap in 2.5-mm increments. If you start the other way round, you’ll waste adjustment range. And: shimming is always better than cutting the tile further – every millimetre you remove from the tile is a predetermined breaking point that you won’t be able to see later on.

Alumero easyPITCH Uni Spacer Plate

The Uni shim supports all easyPITCH roof hooks, thereby compensating for any unevenness in the roof battens. You can adjust the height in 2.5 mm increments – ensuring the hook sits flush without you having to bend the tile any further. It is made from UV-stabilised black HDPE.
