The length of the cross-section is determined by the module length, and Alumero specifies this explicitly: 1980 mm for module lengths up to 1800 mm, 2600 mm for lengths up to 2441 mm, 3,700 mm for two modules, each up to 1,762 mm in length. For the 6,300 series, Alumero does not specify any module length assignments in the product data – in this case, the design must be finalised before ordering. Check the allocation afresh for each project: a profile that is too short cannot be stretched, whilst one that is too long creates an overhang that catches the wind. Orders are placed in bundles of 10 – calculate the number of bundles based on the layout plan, not on the number of modules.

Alumero easySPEED cross-section 1980

The cross-profile connects the base plates transversely, thereby forming the plane on which the module clamps are mounted. According to Alumero, this 1980 mm length is intended for module lengths of up to 1800 mm. The material is EN AW 6063 T66 aluminium with a mill-finish surface.
