Prime time: The new LG RESU 16H Prime high-voltage battery
High-voltage storage systems have been a major trend since 2016. LG Energy Solution is presenting its first high-voltage battery here and has hit the mark. A newly developed battery cell enables a particularly high energy density and compact dimensions for the new LG RESU high-voltage series. The parallel connection also adds up the power output, resulting in 14 kW and a capacity of 32.0 kWh for 2 x 16H. This capacity is more than sufficient, particularly for detached houses, to maintain a high level of Self-consumption. Efficiency now stands at over 90 per cent. The Prime storage units support RS485 and CAN.
