The crimp connections on connectors used in the solar sector must be able to withstand up to 30 A of direct current safely and permanently. In the worst-case scenario, poor crimping can lead to arcing at temperatures of up to 5000 °C. This poses an acute fire hazard. This risk can be quickly and effectively eliminated by using the right tool.
