Sungrow EMS300CP EMS Controller for Sungrow PowerStack ST255-2h
The EMS300CP is the central energy management controller for systems with Sungrow PowerStack storage units. It ensures smooth operation and allows for easy integration with photovoltaic systems and Sungrow DC charging stations. This makes it suitable for energy systems of any size, from single storage units to complex projects with multiple components.
The controller can independently control and monitor the entire system or, if desired, be used as an interface to a higher-level energy management system.
Please ensure correct cabling when connecting to the discontinued PowerStack variant (ST225). (See Downloads section)
If there are multiple grid connection points (e.g. multiple MV substations), one EMS is required per substation.
The required energy meter is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.
The most important possible use cases:
- Peak shaving: Supported by EMS300CP.
- Self-consumption: Supported by EMS300CP.
- Energy arbitrage: Supported by EMS300CP.
- Trading: A suitable third-party EMS is required.
- Dynamic Tariff: A suitable third-party EMS is required.
- Frequency control / system services: A suitable third-party EMS is required.
Combination options:
- Storage operation (ESS): up to 25 PowerStack storage units.
- Storage + PV: Integration of up to 25 PowerStacks, up to 10 Logger1000 units, and a maximum of 6 MWp PV capacity (via Sungrow SGxxCX and SGxxxCX-P2 Inverters via Logger1000)
- Storage + PV + EV: up to 25 × PowerStack, up to 10 × Logger1000, max. 6 MWp PV (SGxxCX, SGxxxCX-P2 Inverters via Logger1000), up to 20 × Sungrow DC charging stations (IDC30E, IDC180E, IDC480E)
