Sungrow PowerKeeper 12.5 kWh
The Sungrow PowerKeeper STC12.5 battery module is the scalable storage unit of the modular PowerKeeper C&I system for commercial and industrial applications. With 12.48 kWh of usable capacity per module, the system allows for flexible storage planning ranging from 50 kWh to 250 kWh per system. Using the optional Combiner Box, capacities of up to 1,000 kWh can even be achieved (from Q3/2026).
The modular pack design allows capacity to be precisely tailored to actual energy requirements and prevents unnecessary oversizing. This makes the system ideal for applications such as Self-consumption optimisation, peak shaving, load management, backup solutions, dynamic electricity tariffs, and PV + ESS + EV charging applications. The wireless stacking design and pre-configured architecture significantly reduce installation effort. The individual battery packs weigh less than 100 kg and can be flexibly expanded.
The PowerKeeper has been specially developed for use with the Sungrow SH125CX hybrid inverter and supports both grid-connected and off-grid applications, including an uninterruptible backup function with a switchover time of <10 ms.
Note: Operation requires additional PowerKeeper accessories (Master/Slave) and the compatible SG hybrid inverter (SH125 CX).
Currently, a maximum of 2 hybrids can be connected in parallel, providing a total backup capacity of up to 250 kW with up to 500 kWh, i.e. up to 2 hours of backup, plus PV.

- Minimum configuration: 4 battery modules = approx. 50 kWh
- Max. 20 modules per system = approx. 250 kWh
