The bifacial halfcut double glass 390 Watt solar module is constructed with N-TOPCon cells. The 9 busbar solar cells have a visually appealing design, making them ideal for mounting on private rooftops. In addition to the high efficiency of 21.51% and immunity to the light-induced degradation (LID) effect, the module is extremely powerful and well-positioned for diffuse sunlight.
The N-type cell, unlike the P-type, is doped with phosphorus during manufacture. Due to the use of phosphorus, N-Type cells are not susceptible to the light-induced degradation effect (LID) and show only minimal signs of wear even after years. The patented N-TOPCon technology delivers the promise of significantly improved diffuse light properties, higher bifaciality, lower temperature coefficient and reduced degradation.
In half-cell technology, the cells are divided into two halves. Instead of 60 cells, the modules have 120 cells. An advantage is the reduction of electrical losses in the cell connector and the cross-connection link. This reduces the electrical resistance in the connection and enables higher performance. When there is shade in the lower module area, the solar module can still call up to 50 % of the power due to the division into two halves.
